2010 Thunder 18U Gold
The 18U team will jump full force into the Gold arena in 2010 competing in showcase tournaments as well as regional Gold qualifiers . The team features some of the best athletes in the four state area. The team finished the Fall season at 8-6-1 playing against some tough competition. The summer season begins with the Memorial Day Madness tournament in Carlisle, PA.

Katie Mangold signs with Salem International
Adria Lewis signs with Bowie State
Adria Lewis, a catcher who also plays outfield and 3rd base, recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for Division II Bowie State. Adria is a senior at For Hill High School in Cumberland, MD, and has twice let her team deep into the MD State playoffs, helping them win a MD Class 1A State Championship in 2008. Katie Mangold, who is currently a senior at Jefferson High School in WV, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at Division II Salem International University. Katie is a pitcher who also plays 1st base, 3rd base and outfield for the Thunder. Katie will start her 2nd season with the Thunder in 2010. Katie joins former Thunder players Desiree Giffin and Haley Nelson at Salem. Congratulations Katie!!!

Samanthia McQuade Signs with Shepherd
Samanthia McQuade, a 4 year player for the Thunder 18U team has signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball at DII Shepherd University in WV. Sam is a 1st baseman/3rd baseman who will graduate from McConnellsburg High School in PA in 2010. Congratulations Sam!!!
Destiny James Commits to Point Park
Destiny James, a senior shortstop from Cumberland, MD has committed to a softball and soccer scholarship at Point Park University. Point Park is an NAIA program in Pittsburgh, PA. DJ will graduate from Fort Hill High School this Spring. Congrats DJ!!!
