Fall season comes to a close
The Thunder 18U Fall 2009 season has come to an end. The team ended the Fall with a 8-6-1 record. The season started with the team getting 2 wins over the WHC Fever. The team had a tough outing at the USSSA Scholastic showcase losing several close games. The team then rebounded to go 3-0-1 in a Halloween tournament in Shippensburg after the New Jersey Outlaws Showcase was cancelled due to the weather. The team then traveled to Sterling for the Baseliners Fall Showcase where they met up with their toughest competition of the year, the Richmond Storm and the Shamrocks Gold. The team dropped 2 games before the tournament was cancelled due to rain on Sunday. The team ended the Fall season with three wins at Pinesburg including wins over the PA Heat and the Baseliners.

The now moves indoors to start their winter workouts. Workouts will include the normal softball skills practice as well conditioning, ability work, and weight lifting. The team will be practicing at Four Star Athletic Complex in Williamsport, MD.

Thunder Winter Workouts...
With the 2010 roster finalized and the Fall season behind us, the Thunder 18U team has started their winter workouts. The team practices twice a week at Four Star Athletic Complex in Williamsport, MD. The Thunder practices consist of hitting drills, defensive drills, team building exercises, weight lifting, conditioning and agility. The Thunder players spend at least 5 hours a week together working on their skills for this coming summer. Most of the players are also playing a winter high school sport and those who are not, have their own conditioning and work out programs when they aren't with the team. The Thunder team is working hard to prepare themselves for the 2010 summer season! Can't wait to see you on the field!!!
