18U Thunder at 2006 MD State Championships
Thunder 14U Win Father's Day Bash in Cumberland MD.
Congratulations to the 14U Thunder team for winning the Cumberland Heat's Father's Day bach this past weekend. The Thunder earn a berth to PONY Nationals for their win.
14U & 16U Thunder Keep Tournament Trophies in Thunder Hands!!!
The 14U and 16U Tri-State Thunder teams represented the organization with style on June 2-3rd in 3rd Annual Thunder PONY Qualifier. Both teams ended the day on Saturday as their divisions top seed and went on to take the tournament championship.

The 18U Thunder team has been invited to play in the Pennsbury Invititational College Showcase in Yardley, PA. The Pennsbury showcase is one of the best and the biggest summer showcase in the East. It is the first weekend that coaches for coaches to begin their summer recruiting and over 250 college coaches normally attend. As a first year attendee the Thunder team will be playing at the Newtown Rock Complex. If the team is able to win their bracket then they will be invited to the play at the main complex next year. Regardless of the complex we will play at, this is a good opportunity for our sophomores and juniors to get more exposure. The 18U team will also play in the Delaware Invitational College Showcase, the TNT Summer Explosion Showcase and the MD Stars Summer Heat Showcase. The team will be attending the Harrisburg ASA Summer Showcase for the first time this year as well. Congrats to the team!!!
Bridgette Ringley has committed to play softball and continue her studies at D3 Hood College. Bridgette is currently a senior at Boonsboro High School in MD and has been a member of the Thunder 18U team for 3 years. Bridgette is a pitcher, 2nd baseman and outfielder and will play all 3 positions in college. Congratulations Bridgette...we wish you the best!!!
Thunder Wins 2008 Charm City Classic!!!
The Thunder 18U went 5-1-2 as they defeated the MVSA Storm to win their first tournament of the year. Check the Results section for details.

Congratulations to Shari Beavers of the 18U Thunder for helping lead her high school team to a MD Class 1A State Championship!!!
Congratulations to Casey Ferrell on being named District Player of the Year as a member of her high school softball team, Millbrook High School in Winchester, VA.
Thunder 16U Wins 4 out of 6 tournaments this summer!!!
The 16U Thunder Silver continues their winning tradition this summer by winning 4 out of 6 of their first tournaments. The team started out the season by winning the Thunder ASA Qualifier in Hagerstown, MD. The team went undefeated to finish to 6-0. The following weekend the Thunder won Cumberland Heat ASA Qualifier for the 3rd year in the row. The team then finished 4th at the MD ASA State Championship tournament before coming back to win the USSSA 16U Central & Western PA State Championship in Shippensburg, PA. After a respectable weekend at the South Carlina Bandits College Showcase in Summerville, SC, the Thunder Silver came back to PA to capture the title at the USSSA Stars and Stripes Tournament this past weekend.
