Thunder Alumni & Current College Players
The Thunder is proud of our past players who have gone to play college softball at the schools of their choice.
Jamie started her travel ball career with the 14U Thunder (then known as the Hagerstown Sluggers) and ended her travel ball career in 2006 with the 18U Thunder. Jamie is now on a softball scholarship to Mount St. Mary's in Emmitsburg, MD.
"Dre" was an original member of the first Thunder team (Hagerstown Sluggers) where she was the starting shortstop. Dre returned to the Thunder organization and completed her travel ball career with the 18U team in 2006. Dre is now the starting centerfielder at Hagertown CC and is deciding where to continue her college career in 2008.
Lauren joined the Thunder organization in 2003 and played for 3 seasons at the 16U and 18U levels. Lauren went on to play college softball at Div. II Fairmont State and plans to return to the Thunder organization to coach in the near future.
Kristen Linton started her career with the Thunder in 2003 and finished after her senior year in 2005. Kristen played outfield and pitched for the Thunder. After high school Kristen went to Fairmont State on a partial softball scholarship.
Allie Holland played for 2 years with the Thunder and was the teams number one pitcher both years. Allie went on to continue her softball career at Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA where she is fittingly, the number one pitcher.
Courtni Williams played for the Thunder for 3 years. After playing for the Thunder Courtni went on to play college softball at Division II Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, WV.
Lisa started her travel ball career with the 16U Thunder and will finish up her travel ball career with the Thunder 18U team in the 2007. In 2006 Lisa led the 18U team in batting average and spent most of time behind the plate or at 3rd base. We are very proud of Lisa for going on to play Div. I softball at her first choice college, Marshall University.
Kendall is new the Thunder organization and will play her first season with the team in 2007. Kendall is a freshman at Stony Brook University in NY.

Jenna Clark played for the Tri-State Thunder for 2 years and is now continuing her career at Hagerstown CC.
Jess Bennett was the very member of the first Thunder team (14U) back when it all started. Jess has played every travel ball game of her career with the Thunder. She will move on in 2007 to be a member of the Div. II Belmont Abbey softball team. Jess will attend college on a softball and volleyball scholarship.
Katlin has been a member of the Thunder organization for 2 years. She started with the 16U team and moved up to 18U in the fall of 2006. Katlin will be attending Alderson Broaddus in the fall of 2007 on a softball scholarship.
Casey Hertel was a member of the Thunder 18U team for 2 years. With the Thunder she played outfield and was one of the teams top pitchers. Casey will be continuing her career at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA.
